Clubs are made up of a composite of different materials, and so as each material needs to recycled differently, they can’t be put into a curb-side recycling process, but it doesn’t mean they can’t be recycled at all. The materials are still valuable resources, so while the process may be more complex, it’s still possible to recycle golf clubs, and becoming increasingly more important to do so.

The awards will bring together leading figures from the golfing world, VIP guests and influential personalities from across the golf tourism industry, and their trip Africa, will create an exciting new milestone for the both the awards’ programme, and the continent’s growing golf tourism profile.

Golf continues to prove its appeal for new regions, where in this case, a group of golf enthusiasts in Arunachal Pradesh is advancing plans for the state’s first civilian 18-hole golf course. The goal will be to establish the northeastern Indian state, which has a new airport at Holongi and is bordered by the Himalayas, as a new destination for golfers from Japan, South Korea and other Asian markets.

For Mediterranean golf, a key question in whether to invest more in building new golf courses and resorts, or rather to reinvest this same capital into redevelopment. Nuno Sepulveda believes the future of Mediterranean golf is not necessarily about building more courses – but transforming the ones that already exist, with the goal of delivering a higher-quality overall experience to golfers.
